QUALIFICATIONS

  • Two decades of experience serving youth, family, and community-supporting organizations, from line staff member to executive leader. 

  • Training and experience in program design, evaluation, and quality standards. 

  • Experience in working with organizations of a wide variety of sizes and structures both local and national, including those with great longevity as well as innovative new start-ups.  

  • Experience serving as a trusted partner to a private family foundation. 

  • Extensive network.

  • Researching and cultivating relationships with impact organizations and leaders poised to affect change that is aligned with the giving strategy. 

  • Providing recommendations for giving based on assessed need and potential impact.

  • Working with grantees to compile annual impact reports to understand the real benefit of contributions.

  • Partnership development with similarly motivated funders to maximize the giving potential and impact of contributions. 

  • Capacity-building support for funded organizations and initiatives to help utilize resources given in the most effective ways.

Bring in the external perspective of an experienced leader who can help you see the things that are easy to miss when you are in the absolute thick of it. The ability to see the big picture and creatively connect the dots, paired with strong facilitation, and program/project design skills make Future Found the right choice when you have hit the wall and need support. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive meeting design and facilitation experience, getting the highest level of engagement, and making the most of everyone’s time. 

  • Experience in developing and leading the strategic planning process in a variety of settings with diverse groups of stakeholders. 

  • Education and experience in design thinking, program design, program evaluation, and project management.

  • Vast experience in effective strategic partnership development and management.

  • Extensive stakeholder engagement experience for the purposes of program design, placemaking projects, and long-term planning.

  • Extensive experience recruiting and hiring diverse team members and volunteers for dynamic line and leadership roles, for youth, family, and community-serving nonprofits of all shapes and sizes. 

  • Experience in innovating on the interview process to get to the capabilities and character of the candidate.

  • Formal education at the Master's level in the social sciences paired with 18 years of direct experience as a non-profit team member and leader, including serving at the executive level.

  • Experience in building inclusive and productive organizational culture from the ground up, and in reinvigorating and reimagining stale or toxic culture.

Together we'll make sure you're in command  of the things that are within your grasp and you are at your best so others around you can be at theirs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A coach who’s actually done the work. Understanding what it takes to be an effective leader takes someone who’s been there.  

  •  A background in Psychology (BA) and Clinical Social Work (MSW) shape a foundation of understanding of motivations and behaviors, as well as the internal and external influences that shape them.

  • Experience in effectively coaching diverse teams and leaders of influence in all career stages and phases.

 

​SERVICES INCLUDE

  • Facilitating guided reflection. Getting clear on your values, motivations, and ideals.

  • Identifying areas of alignment and incongruence. When are you living and exemplifying your values and ideals? When are you not? What's getting in the way?

  • Providing support for goal setting and action planning. 

  • Serving as an action accountability partner and sounding board.

  • Progress and maintenance planning.

Coaching is offered on a 3 to 6-month renewable basis.
